چکیده
Abstract The rising generation of organic waste (OW) can be a concern, representing at the same time valuable opportunity for phosphorous (P) recycling; however, yet little is known about plant-available P release from this source. In work, two anaerobic digestates, agro- (AW D ) and bio-waste (BW ), their respective composts C BW were selected to assess P-release via sequential chemical extraction (SCE) species solution 31 P-NMR in NaOH+EDTA extracts. These products also tested relative-P efficiency (RPE soil incubation (30 mg kg −1 comparison with chemical-P source reference compost. compared ryegrass tissue P-rate 112-day pot experiment an Olsen-P poor (<3 under non-limiting N environment. extractions showed that inorganic prevailed all samples as proven by P-NMR. Phosphorus transformations in plant-based and bio-waste materials induced by pyrolysis
Strategies are needed to increase the sustainability of phosphorus (P) fertiliser management in agriculture. This paper reports on the potential of pyrolysis treatment to recycle P from renewable materials previously regarded as wastes. The study used K-edge X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) spectroscopy to examine chemical forms of P in the waste feedstock materials and correspondin...

Background: Various chemical, physical and biologic treatment methods are being used to remove nitrogen and phosphorus from wastewater. Sequencing batch reactor (SBR) is a modified activated sludge process that removes phosphorus and organic material from sanitary wastewater, biologically. Methods: This study was conducted in 2016.The performance of an aerobic-anaerobic SBR pilot device, locat...
متن کاملPhosphorus Removal and Recovery from Swine Waste: Results of Pretreatment with an Anaerobic Sequencing Batch Reactor
An approach is presented for the on-site treatment of diluted swine waste. The approach (1) incorporates anaerobic digestion with an anaerobic sequencing batch reactor (ASBR) to stabilize waste, reduce odor, and reduce solids and organic compounds, while producing biogas; (2) increases the ortho-phosphate concentration of the anaerobic digester effluent by enhanced biological phosphorus removal...
متن کاملGraphene Oxide Synthesis from Agro Waste
A new method of graphene oxide (GO) synthesis via single-step reforming of sugarcane bagasse agricultural waste by oxidation under muffled atmosphere conditions is reported. The strong and sharp X-ray diffraction peak at 2θ = 11.6° corresponds to an interlayer distance of 0.788 nm (d002) for the AB stacked GOs. High-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and selected-area electron ...
